Karen Carbone, Treasurer — I was an R.N. for 30 years and returned to school to earn my Doctor of Natural Health. I have a private health coaching practice, both on the island and via phone/Skype.

Christa Straub, LMP, Secretary — In massage practice since 1998 and on Whidbey since 2002, my work now particularly supports those with digestive/pelvic and stress-related conditions to find greater balance and ease. I offer abdominal and full-body restorative massage sessions and facilitate self-care classes.

Michele Duncan King, LMP, RYT, Membership Director — My massage experience was initially acquired while working in multidisciplinary health care settings, progressing then into private practice. I specialize in deep tissue therapeutic massage and working within a health care team on patient wellness plans. Subsequently, I have earned Registered Yoga Teacher certification and endeavor to also offer those yogic tools so that others may continue their own bodywork after leaving the massage table. www.WhidbeyRippleEffect.com

Sarah Chappelle, ND, Technical Director — I am a primary care Naturopathic Doctor in Freeland and help patients manage a broad range of health concerns, providing conventional diagnosis, lab testing and imaging orders as well as an array of naturopathic assessments and treatments. www.whidbeynd.com
