Board Member Bios
Lynne Donnelly, CST, EFTCert-II, President — I’ve been working with energy for over 40 years, beginning with t’ai chi and qigong. I am certified by the Upledger Institute in CranioSacral Therapy, by Soul Lightening in Acupresure, and by Gary Craig in EFT. I also have extensive training and experience in Zero Balancing and other types of gentle-touch therapies. www.lynne.org
Sarah Birger, C-IAYT, Vice President — I am certified by the International Association of Yoga Therapists to work with individuals and small groups who want to move toward improved health and well-being using the tools of yoga in a therapeutic relationship. The aim of yoga therapy includes personalized assessment, goal setting, lifestyle management and yoga practices to support improved functioning while eliminating, reducing and/or managing symptoms that cause suffering on multiple levels — body, breath, mind, and spirit.
Karen Carbone, RN, Treasurer — I was an R.N. for 30 years and returned to school to earn my Doctor of Natural Health. I have a private integrative medical practice via telemed, where I provide private consultations. www.whidbeywellness.net
Jacqueline Smillie, Membership Director — I’m an intuitive healer who uses a variety of healing modalities. For the last 39 years I have practiced effective and proven methods of alternative healthcare, with an emphasis on emotional and spiritual healing.
Damaris Hopewell, Secretary — I’m a 3rd-degree Reiki Master trained in the tradition of Usui Reiki. I have been practicing since 1995 & specialize in people & animal family members.
